New Year.... New Goals!

So I have been horrible at keeping this up to date so in this upcoming year, I will strive to do better!

In the new year, I will still create anything that I desire, I want to focus on a few specific items for my Etsy:
Tree of Life pendants and super hero bracelets, necklaces and key chains!

I'm really excited about keeping it simple instead trying to figure out the latest trend and keeping up with it!
That can be stressful!

I will still create custom orders :D

Never Again!!!

So you might be thinking how is making jewelry crazy busy? Well I'll tell you!

Last week, I ended up attending two shows: one on Monday which was indoors and one Friday which was outdoors.....

The selling ended up being successful both days, but Friday was horrible outside!!! I will never set up at 2 PM again! A flyer said the event would start at 2.  I got there early and set up just like the others and no one came!! It was too sweltering hot outside!!

Anyways the night went well after it cooled off and it was a success!

When at those shows, I came up with some different ideas to attract parents and children to my tables - will explain later :)

New Contest!!

Ok new contest - I need a jewelry design idea: if you see a picture online or something post the link here and I'll recreate it! We'll do the same thing - recommend ten people and someone will receive the recreate piece!!

Also if you are still doing the last contest, please continue, but that is mainly for Facebook - please like Jewelry in the Rough on Facebook and get your friends to like the page and comment with your name!

Need your help!!

Hey guys~
I need a way to get more people interested in my jewelry - I'm thinking about either doing a sale or a promotion of some kind like buy one set, get a pair of earrings free..... Or even do something like buy an item, tell a friend to like my Facebook page and write on my wall and they receive a free pair of earrings then keep passing the word...

I need to do something to get Jewelry in the Rough noticed: what do you think???

To introduce myself, my name is Kate and I started making jewelry about a year ago. I can't remember what inspired me to do so, but here I am, a year later!!

Since I already have a gmail address, I thought I'd give this blog a try....

I design and sell jewelry and I really don't have a specific style, I just create what I see in my mind and what I draw on paper.
